1921-2024 Study the history of the Party and remain true to our original aspiration

    The Founding Day of the Communist Party of China. After the Communist Party of China was founded on July 23, 1921, under the brutal rule of the reactionary warlord government, it could only be kept in a secret state and there was no environment for public activities. During the Great Revolution, the Party was too busy cooperating with the Communist Party, carrying out the workers' and peasants' movement, and supporting the Northern Expedition to commemorate the birth of the Party. 

In 1941, the CPC Central Committee designated July 1, 1921 as the founding day of the Communist Party of China. Since then, every year on July 1, the whole Party will warmly celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the party.

The Significance of the Party Founding Day

1 Review the glorious course of the Party, feel the difficulty of the Party's struggle history, deepen the feelings and understanding of the Party, better understand the Party's purposes and policies, and devote themselves to socialist construction.

2 By commemorating the anniversary of the founding of the Party, we will carry forward the fine traditions and qualities of the Party and lay a more solid foundation for the establishment of socialist core values.

3 Through commemorative activities, recall the past, grasp the contemporary, better gather and unite the majority of Party members, and better lead the people of the whole country to achieve the grand goal of basically building a developed country by the middle of this century.

4 "July 1" this glorious festival has been deeply engraved in the hearts of the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country. It has become an important festival for people to commemorate every year, and it has also become a part of Chinese festival culture.

5 Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese people of all ethnic groups are encouraged to continue on the road of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and to create and embrace a new and better future.
